Building Hope, the recently released documentary film, outlines the charity work that Turk Pipkin has completed and continues to pursue in Mahiga, Kenya. Through much effort from the combined efforts of Architecture for Humanity, the Nobelity Project,  and Nike Game Changers the Rainwater court has brought a much needed potable water supply to the region. Dick Clark Architecture teamed up with Turk to design the Rainwater Court. Dick and Matt Garcia have been given the opportunity to travel to Kenya and assist Turk in his continued charitable efforts.

The team went to Mahiga Hope today and brought new shoes for the preschoolers. Dick and Matt did shoe fittings while the kids were very patient and grateful. Matt spent some time on the court and held a mini basketball camp with the high school boys. The kids are all so excited.

The team is staying at the Abedare Country Club. Warthogs, impalas and a couple of zebras can be seen playing nearby. They traveled to the Bondini school today, where Turk is doing a water project, and brought some soccer balls and a basketball.
