Federico Archuleta, artist
You do not have to go to a fancy art gallery to see Federico Archuleta’s work; just walk around central Austin and you might just stumble on to one of his pieces. Federico provides art for the public on the streets of Austin and beyond, reminding us that public spaces should never be the sole domain of advertisers and product hustlers. His graffiti western style is one that has been inspired by the older generation of street artists, while at the same time, it serves to inspire a new following of artists that continue to carry the torch of public self-expression. The film contains footage of Banksy, Shephard Fairey, Invader and many of the world's most infamous graffiti artists at work. IMDB
