Capital Studios - Construction

If you live in Austin than you can see Capital Studios rapidly reaching into the skyline. A large chunk of the concrete and steel work has been completed and soon enough the wood framing will begin. At the top of the podium we get a lovely view of the Capital to the northwest

Hoppy Monk Construction

Hoppy Monk in San Antonio construction is trucking right along. Major concrete work has been completed and framing has commenced.



Back bar with the all too important wall of taps.



The specially fabricated trusses that will be visible in the main assembly area are in place.

Grand Opening at Dolce Neve

Austin Eater has been ramping up the hype for the just opened Dolce Neve on South First. We have been working hard on this little renovation and are happy see the place celebrate such a warm turn out at its grand opening. Revival Texas

There is a great article in the latest Austin Home that covers the upcoming Revival Square. We have been developing Schematic Design concepts for the project which will be defined as a unique and immersive shopping experience in the Hill Country. The centerpiece of this design is a retrofitted 108 year old church that has been moved from Middletown, Ohio to its new home in Austin, TX. Check out the article online.

Capital Studios - Construction Update 1

Things are moving and shaking for affordable housing in Austin, TX. In the most recent election, the citizens of Austin have decided to approve a proposition for $65 million in bonds for affordable housing projects. Construction has also started at 11th and Trinity, downtown, for Capital Studios. Check out the latest aerials of site construction sent to us by the contractor, Spawglass.

Seaholm Intake Center Competition

Recently, Dick Clark + Associates put together a competition entry for a open call on design submissions for the existing Seaholm Intake Center on Town Lake. Our design solution focused on the multiple routes of transportation within the context of the building, and how to best design the building and its surrounding grounds to accentuate these forms of movement. Joggers, bikers, kayackers and daytrippers could move freely in a complex interplay between these separate groups.
